XseveN Transferred from ENCE to HAVU
25-years-old Finnish player Sami "xseveN" Laasanen has been transferred from ENCE Esports to HAVU Gaming. The deal implies that the player will be loaned to ENCE for the RMR events and other Valve-sponsored tournaments until the conclusion of the current major circuit, so that the organization will not lose RMR-points due to roster changes.
XseveN has been playing for ENCE since early 2018. Last year was extremely successful for the team, when they finished 2nd at IEM XIII – Katowice Major 2019 and placed 5th–8th at StarLadder Berlin Major 2019, as well as emerged victorious at BLAST Pro Series: Madrid 2019 and placed high at a number of other prestigious events.
This year, however, the team’s performance changed for the worse, which eventually led to the addition of Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen and the transition to the six-players model. Jamppi, however, is VAC banned and cannot participate in VALVE-related tournaments.
Earlier this week HAVU Gaming parted ways with Aaro "hoody" Peltokangas, who ended his CS:GO career and switched to VALORANT. The updated team’s roster will debut at the upcoming $15,000 event FunSpark ULTI 2020 – Europe. Their first match, where they will face x6tence, is scheduled for 12:00 PM UK Time, August 9th.
