OG Announce Ana’s Retirement
OG have announced that Anathan "ana" Pham is no longer part of the organization. The player has decided to step away from Dota 2 to “move to a new chapter in [his] life”. It is unknown who will take his place in the team.
Australian player Ana, currently 21-years-old, first joined OG in 2016. Despite leaving the team for a year in 2017 and taking several extended breaks, with him the team managed to win two The International events in a row, as well emerged victorious at two majors. The player has been mostly inactive since winning TI9, however returned to the active roster this April to play in DreamLeague 15 DPC Western Europe Upper Division. There the team placed 6th and failed to qualify for WePlay AniMajor.
It won’t be long until we know Ana replacement in the team, as they start competing at ESL One Summer 2021 that begins already tomorrow. In early July the team will also play in the qualifiers for The International 10.
