NAVI Eliminated from TI10 Qualifiers

Natus Vincere have been eliminated from the qualifiers for The International 10. Throughout the qualifier, the team managed to win only their first match against EXTREMUM (2-0). Later however they lost to HellRaisers (1-2) and Team Empire (1-2).

NAVI were one of the favourites of the qualifier thanks to their all-star line-up – recently the team brought in Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko and Akbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev from AS Monaco Gambit, who departed their previous team despite losing their place at the major. Now both teams will miss The International 10 – Gambit were eliminated yesterday after losing to Fantastic Five in the second round of the lower bracket.

Later today (3:00 PM BST) the qualifier will feature the upper bracket final, where Team Spirit will face HellRaisers. Later (6:00 PM) Team Empire will face either PuckChump or Nemiga Gaming. The qualifier will conclude tomorrow with a best-of-five grand finale, the winner of which will qualify for The International 10.

Earlier we reported that The International 10 will not happen this August in Stockholm as it was planned earlier. VALVE aim to host the event later this year in another European city.
