DreamHack Open North America: Team One Defeat Cloud9 to Secure Last Place in Playoffs

The Brazilian squad Team One has become the last team to qualify for the playoffs stage of DreamHack Open Summer 2020: North America. In the final match of Group B they outplayed Cloud9 with the 1-2 score. Earlier Team Liquid, FURIA Esports and Chaos EC also secured their places in playoffs.

The playoffs stage, which will follow a single-elimination format with best-of-three series, will begin today, on August 14th. In the first semifinal, which is scheduled for 6:00 PM UK Time, FURIA Esports will face Chaos EC. Meanwhile the second semifinal will start on 9:00 PM and feature Team Liquid competing with Team One.

The North American division of DreamHack Open Summer 2020 features a $90,000 prize pool, $35,000 of which goes to the winner. Recently the group stage also concluded in Europe, where Complexity, BIG, Heroic and OG advanced to the playoffs.
