BLAST Premier European Finals: Vitality to Face FaZe in the Semifinals
Yesterday started the European finals of BLAST Premier: Spring 2020. In the first day of the event, Team Vitality outplayed G2 Esports (2-0), while FaZe Clan defeated ENCE (2-1). The winners will face each other on June 18th in the upper bracket semifinals.
Today we will witness the other two quarterfinals. The first of them, featuring Natus Vincere and Ninjas in Pyjamas, will begin on 3:30 PM UK time. Although lately Na`Vi have been inconsistent in their performance, their head-to-head record against NiP is rock solid – they haven’t lost a single map against the team in almost a year.
The second series, scheduled to start on 7:00 PM UK Time, will pit Complexity against OG. The teams have not played against each other before, however Complexity have a significantly more impressive list of achievements – in the last month and a half the team managed to win four #HomeSweetHome events.
BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 European Finals features eight teams competing in a double-elimination playoffs bracket for a $500,000 prize pool. The event will conclude on June 21st, with top two teams advancing to BLAST Premier: Global Final 2020.
