Astralis Emerge Victorious at DreamHack Masters Winter 2020

The European division of DreamHack Masters Winter 2020 has concluded with the victory of Astralis over mousesports (3-1). The winners received $60,000, while the runner-up team claimed $30,000 in prize money.

Both mousesports and Astralis qualified for playoffs from Group B, where mousesports placed first after defeating Team Liquid (2-0) and GODSENT (2-1), while Astralis lost to GODSENT (1-2) in the first round, and then outplayed Team Liquid (2-0) and G2 Esports (2-0) in the lower bracket.

In the playoffs stage Astralis defeated Gambit Esports (2-0) and FURIA Esports (2-0), while mousesports managed to beat Cloud9 (2-0) and GODSENT (2-1). In the grand finals mousesports emerged victorious at Inferno (16:3), while Astralis were stronger at Train (16:5), Nuke (16:13) and Vertigo (22:19).
