27-years-old American jungler William "Meteos" Hartman has departed 100 Thieves after the organization decided to promote Shane "Kenvi" Espinoza and Milan "Tenacity" Oleksij from 100 Thieves Next to 100 Thieves Academy.

Meteos joined 100 Thieves last November – being part of the organization’s main roster, the player managed to place 5-6th in the LCS Spring 2020. However, the team had a rough start in the summer split with a 1-5 score after three weeks. The management decided to bench Meteos and transfer him to the academy roster.

In his TwitLonger post Meteos explained that he was offered to split time with Kenvi for the remainder of the season, however the player refused. Although he was also able to negotiate with other LCS teams, the player decided against it. According to the post, the player has not made up his mind on his future plans, however he is willing to return to streaming and is interested in trying to appear on LCS streams as an analyst or a co-caster.
